Yes. Authors may submit multiple manuscripts, provided that each submission represents original and independent research and complies with the conference submission guidelines.
No. Submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published, accepted for publication, or simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal during the review process.
All manuscripts must be submitted in English and prepared in accordance with the official conference author guidelines and formatting template.
Submitted manuscripts should normally not exceed 5,000 words or approximately 12 pages, including figures, tables, appendices, and references.
The manuscript similarity index should not exceed 15%, excluding references, quotations, and properly cited material.
Yes. To preserve the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process, all manuscripts must be anonymized by removing author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, funding information, and other identifying details.
All eligible submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review conducted by at least two independent reviewers.
The complete peer-review process, from the submission deadline to the notification of the editorial decision, normally spans a minimum of five (5) weeks.
Accept; Accept with Minor Revisions; Major Revisions Required; or Reject.
Authors are normally given seven (7) days to submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed Point-by-Point Response Letter.
Yes. At least one registered author must present the paper during the conference.
The paper may be withdrawn from the conference programme and will not be considered for publication.
No. Acceptance by the Conference Scientific Committee does not automatically guarantee publication. Only papers that are accepted, presented, registered, and comply with all conference and publisher requirements will be submitted to the publisher. Final publication remains subject to the publisher's editorial review, quality assurance procedures, and publication policies.
Yes. Selected papers may be invited for submission to partner journals or edited books. Such invitations do not guarantee publication and remain subject to the publisher's independent peer-review process.
Changes to authorship after submission of the camera-ready paper will only be considered under exceptional circumstances with the approval of the Conference Scientific Committee and the written consent of all authors.
Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript should notify the Conference team in writing as early as possible. Withdrawal requests submitted after registration (payment), submission of the camera-ready paper, or finalisation of the publication files may not be accommodated and will be subject to the publisher's policies and publication schedule.
The corresponding author serves as the primary contact between the authors, the Conference Scientific Committee, and the publisher. They are responsible for submitting the manuscript, coordinating revisions, communicating reviewer comments to co-authors, obtaining approval from all authors, submitting copyright documentation, and ensuring compliance with all conference policies and deadlines.
Yes. At least one author of each accepted paper must complete conference registration before the specified deadline.
Registration fees are non-refundable once registration has been completed and payment has been received. The fee covers conference participation, scientific review, editorial management, technical support, conference materials, and networking opportunities. It is not a publication fee and does not guarantee publication.
Yes. AI tools may be used for language editing, grammar, formatting, coding assistance, and literature discovery, provided authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and scientific content of their work and comply with the conference and publisher's AI policies.
Reviewers are appointed by the Conference Scientific Committee based on their academic expertise, publication record, and experience relevant to the conference tracks.
Yes. If you do not have the required expertise, have a conflict of interest, or cannot complete the review within the deadline, you should decline the invitation promptly.
ICIEDI uses a double-blind peer-review process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Each manuscript is normally reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Additional reviewers may be appointed when necessary.
Reviewers are normally allocated ten (10) days to complete each review cycle.
Reviewers should assess originality, scientific significance, methodological rigour, technical quality, relevance to the conference theme and track, clarity, validity of results, ethical compliance, and contribution to knowledge.
You should immediately inform the Conference Scientific Committee and decline the review if the conflict could affect your impartiality.
No. All manuscripts and review materials are confidential and must not be shared without prior approval from the Conference Scientific Committee.
AI tools may assist with language or grammar in preparing review reports. However, reviewers must not upload confidential manuscripts or unpublished research to publicly accessible AI platforms. AI must not replace the reviewer's independent scientific judgement.
Immediately notify the Conference Scientific Committee and provide any supporting observations. Do not contact the authors directly.
Yes. Reviewers will receive an official Certificate of Reviewing upon completion of their review assignments. Outstanding reviewers may also be recognised through the Outstanding Reviewer Award and considered for future appointments to the Conference Scientific Committee or Editorial Boards.
